March 2009 - "EJC 2011 e.V." was founded
To channel the energies for the EJC in 2011 and give the preparations a clear-cut and credible shape, a registered association (eingetragener Verein) called "EJC 2011 e.V." was founded on March 4th, 2009.
Aims and Objectives of the Association
The association aims to promote juggling and related sports. It also seeks to organize and develop the juggling community in Munich. Jugglers from the surrounding area and from all over Europe will come together to get to know each other and to exchange skills in juggling and related sports.
The objectives of the association lie especially in providing the premises for training, in promoting sporting exercise and performance, and in hosting and organizing regional, national and international competitions, conventions and events.
In particular the association supports bringing together jugglers from all European countries by organizing the European Juggling Convention (EJC) 2011 in Munich.
